KS3 Chess Tournament Success

On Tuesday 13th June, 8 Angmering School pupils competed in a chess tournament at Windlesham House School. The event is the largest of its kind in the UK with 128 players in total which included 15 county players and 3 England players.
Our teams did incredibly well and placed in a commendable 3rd and 4th place!
With an amazing result we hope to compete in more tournaments in the future, congratulations to all our chess team and a huge thank you to Mr Cochrane and Mrs Hook for accompanying the team.
