Inspiring Futures
We were delighted to welcome back Rhianna Clavering on Friday 10th Oct, a former Angmering School student who left Sixth Form five years ago to embark on a degree apprenticeship in marketing. Rhianna returned to speak with Year 10, Year 11, and Year 13 students about the world of work, career pathways, and the essential skills needed in today’s workplace.
Drawing from her own experiences, Rhianna delivered engaging and insightful presentations, sharing what her role in marketing involves and how a degree apprenticeship allowed her to learn, earn, and grow professionally. Her sessions were pitched perfectly, giving students the opportunity to reflect on their own aspirations and explore the wide range of possibilities available to them after school.
It was particularly powerful for students to hear from someone who once sat in the same classrooms and is now thriving in her chosen career. Rhianna’s visit not only informed but truly inspired, prompting valuable discussions about where students could see themselves in the future and how to get there.
A huge thank you to Rhianna for giving her time and sharing her journey so openly. She reminded us all that with focus, curiosity, and determination, anything is possible.
