Arundel Wetlands visit
23 Oct 25
This week, our Geography and Biology Year 12 students had a fantastic Wednesday afternoon at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust in Arundel.
The visit was packed with learning and discovery — students explored just how vital wetlands are to our planet’s ecosystems while getting hands-on experience collecting primary data through pond dipping. They measured the biotic and abiotic indices to establish the health of a pond. There was also an opportunity to see some of the world's most endangered birds at the reserve.
To top it all off, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved afternoon tea and some delic
ious cakes!
