Danceathon 2026

20 Oct 26

Today, 100 students took part in our annual Danceathon to raise money for our Dance Live entry, and we are absolutely blown away by their efforts!

This year, we are bringing the powerful story of The Book Thief to life through dance. Set in Nazi Germany during the Second World War, this moving story explores the power of words, the importance of human connection, and how hope and kindness can endure even in the darkest of times.

We are thrilled to announce that we have raised an incredible £1,471, with more donations still coming in! A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped make today such a success.

A special shout-out goes to Grace in Year 8, who raised an amazing £120 all by herself! Grace, we are so proud of you!

Our Dance Live competition takes place on 3 February 2027, and the money raised will help us bring our performance to life through props, set design and costumes.

Thank you so much to all our students, staff, families and supporters for making this possible. We cannot wait to share our performance with you!
