An inspiring visit to L&G Offices in Hove

Miss Ford and Mr Bowles escorted a group of our Year 9 students to The L&G offices in Hove this week.

All students in Year 9 are currently taking part in the Dare to Dream programme, a programme which is facilitated by Lovelocaljobs and L&G and this added opportunity is a welcome bonus for a handful of our students.

The visit provided our students with a valuable insight into the world of work and the many opportunities available to them in the future. During the day, students took part in a range of engaging workshops, developed their interview techniques, and had the opportunity to meet and hear from L&G apprentices, who shared their own experiences and career journeys.

Students were also treated to a tour of the impressive L&G building and enjoyed a wonderful lunch, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.

One of the highlights of the visit was seeing Jack Hayes.

As we know Jack presents the Dare to Dream programme at The Angmering School and our students were particularly excited to see him again and enjoyed the opportunity to speak with him and hear more about the programme they have been taking part in.

The visit was a fantastic success giving students the chance to broaden their horizons, build confidence and gain a greater understanding of the world of work.

We are incredibly grateful to L&G and Lovelocaljobs for their continued support and for providing our students with such an inspiring and enriching experience.
