Angmering Parish Council Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

16 May 22

As part of the Angmering Parish Council’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations our school was delighted to receive a tree to plant in the grounds to commemorate this special event. The Parish Council also kindly donated bedding plants and a group of students, who are involved in our small holding project, were eager to get involved and help with the design and planting.

We would like to thank the Parish Council for their kind contribution to our school. Our staff and students have really enjoyed being a part of this community scheme and our visitors are already commenting on how lovely it is.

Pictured above are Zoe, Adam and Grace in Year 7, Bradley and Oscar in Year 8, Emily, Jessica and Bradley in Year 9, along side Headteacher Mr Liley and Chair of the Parish Council and Angmering Acting Chair of Governors Mrs Hamilton-Street.

Thanks also go to the following students for their hard work in designing the layout and planting; Matthew, Jai, Thomas, Harry, Lucas and Jack in Years 7 and 8, Henry in Year 9 and Keira, Jade and Brooklyn in Year 10, who should all be very proud of their achievements.
