The Admissions Process

 Applying for a Place

We are a community school. Admissions to community schools are the responsibility of the Local Education Authority and applications must be made through their offices at:

Pupil Admission Office
Centenary House
Durrington Lane
Worthing
West Sussex
BN13 2QB

Telephone: 033 301 42903
Fax: 01903 839214
Email: admissions.south@ westsussex.gov.uk

Under the Education Act you can express a preference for any school but you do not have a right to choose a school. West Sussex Education Authority does however make every effort to meet parental preference where possible. Further details relating to admissions can be found on the West Sussex County Council website  here.

The application process for children due to transfer to secondary school starts in September each year.  All West Sussex resident parents should have completed an application for a secondary school place by the closing date detailed on the West Sussex County Council admissions page.

In year admissions are via the WSCC website too.  The application form is here.
