The welfare of our students is of paramount importance to us. We know that if a child is not happy they will not learn well and achieve their potential.
We have a range of staff who can support your child. The main contact for all students is their Tutor, who they see on a daily basis. However, the Year Team Leader and Headship Team are also available if needed. We also have a dedicated team of people, the Student Support Team, who do not teach so are available from 8.30 until 4.30 in the Student Support Area.
We also have a range of students who support too. Year 7 and Year 8 have Peer Mediators from Year 9 and 10 who are trained to support students with low level issues and to just be an older student they can talk to.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything regarding the welfare of your child. We will keep information confidential where possible but we need to know so we can care for your child in school.
If you wish to speak to someone regarding your child’s welfare then please contact the Student Services Assistants on the following numbers. If they do not answer then please do leave a short message and your contact number and they will endeavour to get back to you within the hour. Please do not call reception.
