On Saturday 26th February The Angmering School wheelchair basketball team played their first competitive match against the Portsmouth Rockets at Waterlooville.
Although they lost 34-18, they played really well and gelled as a team quickly. The passing was excellent and with more practice they will become a really good team. They will be playing a return match in April.
Team: Alex McGrory, Ian Clarke, Nathan Carey, Will Hamson, Amanda Still, John Howard, David Bullen, Lee Brown. Point scorers – Ian 6pts, Alex 5pts, Will 7pts.
