The School Day
The school opens at 8.00 a.m. Students are welcome to enter the building when they arrive, while staff are present we do rely on the good sense and responsibility of the students until staff are formally on duty at 8.30 a.m.
Morning school starts at 8.40 a.m. when a bell reminds students that they should be at registration.
The structure of the school week is outlined below.

We have a large open site and during break and lunch time most of the buildings are open. Each year group is allocated an area of the school which is used at break and lunchtime. We rely on and have high expectations of the students' co-operation, good sense and self-discipline at these times.
Students are not allowed to leave the school during the day without first seeking the permission of their Group Tutor. The only exceptions are those students who have their parents' permission to go home for lunch.
