Therapies
We have regular sessions of physiotherapy on four days weekly, provided by the local Health Trusts.
This is in constant jeopardy from cost cuts but presently provides excellent service.
The school has only a small amount of occupational therapy time, so buys its own, providing assessment and interventions for students who require it.
The school doctor and nurse are regular and welcome visitors.
We have a weekly visit from a specialist speech and language therapist, jointly funded by health and education, for hearing impaired students, with occasional visits from other specialist speech and language therapists for the remaining students with statements of Special Educational Needs
An Audiologist and a specialist ear-mould maker visit the school regularly.
We provide counsellors for seven hours weekly and have regular visits from our Education Psychologist.
