Teachers

We are a group of more than nine teachers in the school, paid from
the additional funding for students with disabilities.

The majority of us have further qualifications as teachers of the Deaf or have diplomas for Special Educational Needs.

Between us, we cover a wide range of subject specialisms.

Specialist teachers have a tutor group and teach a group within their subject specialism, just as our colleagues do. Each one has a year co-ordinator's, or assistant year co-ordinator's role and additional responsibility for a specialism, an aspect of support and/or liaison.

In the Learning Support and Development Faculty, we teach, develop literacy programmes, provide support and extension for more able students, monitor progress and advise our colleagues.....
